2011 to establish a partnership and recognizes that the training

entry level position and enhances their ability to perform their job
duties safely and efficiently in the upstream oil & gas industry.
As long as they have vacant positions available,
they are very interested in
offering our candidates, who are trained and meet their pre requisites a
career in the oil patch in Alberta or elsewhere they operate as they are
desperate for placements.
The normal process for hiring is to
obtain individuals with at least 6 months plus, oil field experience,
however that is not happening. Due to their continuous growth,
they have decided to start, what they call a "RED HAT

provide the only industry accreditations east of Alberta and recognized

Texas for validation to employers. Employers in the industry will
be reassured our students have been trained through a accreditation
process reviewed by a board of industry directors.
Read on and come grow
with us as we help train the general public, trades persons, university
students, general labourers, military and men & women of all cultures
for present and future oilfield jobs. As this industry is becoming more
automated and less labour intensive e.g. computer automated robotics.
Future generation rigs provide equal opportunities for men and women.

"...Maritime Drilling Schools Limited is a global
leader
in training for the oil & gas
and mining industry..."
"Our students are found working in the United
States, Canada,
United Kingdom,
South
America, West Africa, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Australia, Far East
..."
Our
students are working with more than 100 drilling contractors around the
world and creating a worldwide web of resources.
We
are now experiencing an Oil Boom around the World. Canada is busy
in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Some Activity
in Eastern Canada both land and offshore. The United States are
experiencing booms in North Dakota Bakken Oil Deposit, Montana, Ohio
Utica Source Rock and the Marcellus which runs from Ontario to
Tennessee, Colorado, Wyoming and new
technology drilling in East Texas Permian Basin and
the Eagle Ford Shale of South Texas. Offshore Drilling
in the US has increased as well and expect the deep water drilling to
increase as new regulations and equipment restore confidence.
Opportunities around the globe are available to those wanting to
experience the international activity.
Compare time, tickets, cost and results with us, other institutes,
universities and trades:
University -
4 years
up to $100,000 for tuition, and accommodations
Apprenticeship Trades -
Up to 4
years $80,000 for tuition,
and accommodations
Our
program -
20 days
12 industry certifications $5000 for tuition,
school and accommodations
with starting wages in Canada starting at $2808.00- $3057.00
per week. Most university and apprenticeship trades make less but
with training from MDS less time training and big money starting out
with opportunities to travel the world at the expense of the employer.
Smart Sense: for potential University and Trade Apprentices
MDS
students can make enough money in their first year on a drilling
rig to pay for a University or Apprenticeship Trade. My opinion,
if you rather the above working a rig is the best way to make big money,
get educated and have an opportunity to seek out a job for when you are
finished !!!
Looking
at the past and future of this industry, this is the best time ever to
train for this industry as the opportunities for employment and
promotions are at its highest!!!
Once
students complete our program we provide a world wide list of drilling
contractors along with contact information. In addition, Maritime
Drilling Schools Limited is contacted regularly from employers for
access to our students. Students
should not pay recruiting
agencies for employment or wage reduction for services. In Canada most
drilling contractors in Alberta run orientations twice a week. Employers
normally provide medicals to potential employee's prior to
employment. The majority of land drilling contractors are located
in Nisku, Alberta and located 10 minutes from the Edmonton airport.
"...a comprehensive training program that is tailored specifically for the drilling
industry..."
Since our
inception of May 2000
the training our students received has well paid off with
no
serious injuries or fatalities
accounted for and students reaching their goals by working hard and safe
and becoming great managers in the oil & gas business. We have
students making well over $150,000 to $300,000 a year incomes.
We at Maritime Drilling Schools are meeting our mandate as well as
accomplishing our mission to be the best at what we do. Our goal
is to see our students be the best in the industry
by working safe and efficiently
to protect themselves and others working along side them. As well,
provide you with the knowledge and tools to advance
forward in this industry with confidence and skill to achieve
your own
goals much faster.
"Our president strongly believes that if you want it bad enough
you'll get it. You can start paying yourself sooner rather than later.
Being prepared and equipped prior to entering this field is the best
choice and don't wait to beat the rush!!!"
With the
rebound of
higher prices of oil & gas and
minerals
as well as the
present and future demands
of these resources, should have you looking to further your career in these industries. Another
issue is
the baby boomers,
which the oil & gas and mining industry is already experiencing as their
key employees are ready for retirement and no personnel to replace them
with. In short, now is the time for training with
greater
opportunities for those seeking a rewarding career
and looking to advance forward.
"...Professional training in Drilling Technology will help you acquire the knowledge and management skills to advance further in
your career..."
