Quotes from President's Message
"...Maritime Drilling Schools Limited is the global
leader
in entry-level training for the oil & gas
and mining industry..."
"Our students have found employment in the United
States, Canada,
United Kingdom,
South
America, West Africa, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Australia, Far East
..."
"MDS
is the boot camp for the drilling industry
with over 23,000
certifications issued to students since May 2000 with
92% - 96% of our graduates are directly employed in the oil & gas
and mining industry, 1 - 4% marine related some of it oil & gas, 3%
construction some of it oil & gas, 3% other occupations and 1%
unemployed. Our students have found employment with more than
70 drilling contractors around the world..."
"...a comprehensive training program that is tailored specifically for the drilling
industry..."
Since our
inception of May 2000
the training our students received has well paid off with
no
serious injuries or fatalities
accounted for and students reaching their goals by working hard and safe
and becoming great managers in the oil & gas business. We have
students making well over $150,000 to $300,000 a year incomes.
We at Maritime Drilling Schools are meeting our mandate as well as
accomplishing our mission to be the best at what we do. Our goal
is to see our students be the best in the industry
by working safe and efficiently
to protect themselves and others working along side them. As well,
provide you with the knowledge and tools to advance
forward in this industry with confidence and skill to achieve
your own
goals much faster.
"Our president strongly believes that if you want it bad enough
you'll get it and always be a positive thinker by taking the bad and
turning it into something good!!!"
With the
next rebound to come of
higher prices of oil & gas and
minerals
as well as the
present and future demands
of these resources, should have you looking for a beginning or new
career in these industries. Another
issue is
the baby boomers,
which the oil & gas and mining industry is already experiencing as their
key employees are ready for retirement and no personnel to replace them
with. In short, now is the time for training with
greater
opportunities for those seeking a rewarding career.
The experts responsible for re-tooling / advising employees for the
future industries after the sudden collapse in the auto,
logging and manufacturing industry are stating future training should be
focused on the oil & gas industries.
We have
trained men & women who are farmers, fisherman, tradesman, engineers,
geologists, general laborers, and every culture you can imagine for this
industry.
"...an individual starting out in this dynamic industry, can range from $70,000 to $100,000 in Canada or $62,000 to
$85,000 in the United States per year..."
"...The Drilling Technology or the Professional Safety &
Training Designations Program will help you acquire the knowledge and management skills to advance further in
your career..."
