Maritime Drilling Schools Ltd. is located in the town of North Sydney on the unique island of scenic Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.  Our island offers 180 miles of inland sea for boating, fishing and acts as Canada's ocean playground. Situated in the heart of North Sydney at 150 Peppett Street, the school and residence are close to the Newfoundland  ferry service, North Sydney Shopping plaza and the town's downtown core. There are plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance of the school. The town has a bowling ally, world class fitness centre, library, CAPP site, swimming pool, and skating arena. There is also a Dooley's billiard hall and several nightclubs that offer live entertainment. This location is also next to some of the best golfing in North America with Highland Links course being ranked as #1 and Cape Breton  ranked as #2 on National Geographic's list of world's best scenic destinations)---
